Biological drilling is a technique that allows the preparation of the implant site in a conservative way, and allows at the same time the collection of a great amount of autologous bone. The selected drilling protocol can determine the success of the treatment. Another particularly important factor is the insertion torque. In this respect, over the last few years, old protocols have been modified thanks to new knowledge. In this lecture we will review and analyse both concepts.
