Extra-short implants are currently a less invasive and predictable therapeutic alternative. They have a high survival and success rate and a low rate of biological and mechanical complications. They also enable a reduction in post-operative morbidity compared to complex regeneration techniques in cases of severe bone atrophy. Not only splinting extra-short implants is predictable; used in single tooth restorations it also offers excellent performance.
